My outlet keeps popping (tripping), what’ the problem?
This happens to more people than you think! It’s a common problem when you have ONE outlet and you have one or more appliances that need tons of energy on it.
For example, we got a call about an outlet going out often. The issue was that in ONE outlet there was a microwave and a freezer plugged in. Too much energy was being sucked out of that one outlet causing it to “trip” or “pop”. To find out what appliance is causing it, we recommend that you unplug all them. Then begin to plug them in one at a time. The one that causes it to pop is the high energy appliance.
To fix this issue, we recommend that you do not run heavy appliances to that one outlet. If you must have them both there, we recommend that you install a second circuit.
Just one of my outlet holes work. Why?
This means that there is a wiring issue. If you’re not familiar with the wiring, we recommend that you give us a call.
